Dr. A.R. Khan, Associate Director (Trg.), KVK Una, HP Agricultural University, Palampur visited KVK Samrala on 05-07-2017 to strengthen research & extension activities between PAU and HP Agricultural university. He interacted with KVK trained farmer of village chakroudi Teh. Samrala, who adopted fish farming as profession. He also visited fields of progressive farmers who adopted PAU improved agricultural technologies especially judicious use of water and efficient use of energy i.e. solar powered micro irrigation system. He appreciated the efforts of self help groups trained & formed by KVK Samrala and commented that he is keen to replicate such examples in his area. He shared about the excellent performance of field demonstrations of maize hybrid PMH-1 on farmer
