International team from Nepal visited KVK Samrala to know the role of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in transfer of improved agricultural technologies to farmers and linkages of farmers with KVK & state departments to KVK. Dr. S.C. Sharma, Associate Director (Training) KVK Samrala introduced the team to international visitors and highlighted the mandates and achievements of KVK Samrala with a short presentation followed by visit to agri technology park to provide information to the delegates about the improved agricultural technologies and role of seed shop making improved seed availability to the farming community of the area. The team appreciated the work done by the KVK team. An interactive session with farmers and farm-women was also arranged. The farmers and farm-women who adopted subsidiary occupation also exhibited their products and team encouraged the entrepreneurs who started business after training imparted at KVK. Dr. S.C. Sharma also acknowledged the assistance provided by Directorate ATARI & state departments to achieve the goals.
